After purchasing a lottery ticket and marking the numbers, most players would be glued to their screens to see if they have the winning numbers. But interestingly, that's not the case for a lucky Irish Lotto player from Ballally, Dublin.

The National Lottery Urges Players from Ballally to Collect the Prize

The National Lottery has appealed to players from the Irish county to verify their tickets because a massive five-figure sum lies unclaimed. On June 17, 2023, a player from Dublin's Ballally neighborhood won a reward worth €61,2023.

The anonymous winning ticket was bought at Super Valu in Dublin 16's Ballally Shopping Center. The main Lotto draw's winning numbers were 2, 3, 21, 43, 44, and 46, as well as the bonus number of 7.

As it stands, the lucky winner has less than four weeks left to collect the reward. In Ireland, winning ticketholders have 90 days from the draw date to receive their prize. This means the player must claim the reward by Friday, September 15, 2023.

The National Lottery has urged all Lotto players in Dublin to examine their previous tickets from June carefully. The lottery operator says it's eager to get a response from the lucky winner of the June 17 draw.

"The winner purchased their ticket in Super Valu, Ballally Shopping Centre, Dublin 16. As ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, the last date to claim this prize is Friday, September 15, so we are encouraging all our players who purchased their ticket in the Super Valu to check their old tickets very carefully," a representative from the National Lottery said.

The lottery operator also advised the winner to sign the back of their winning ticket for security reasons. Then, they should proceed to contact the prize claims team via the following channels:

This is not the first time the Irish Lottery has issued such an appeal to lottery players. At the beginning of August, the National Lottery advised players from Telly Bingo to confirm their tickets and claim the €27,505 payout.
